GOD DOES WHAT HE SAYS… ALWAYS!

Know then that there shall fall to the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spoke concerning the house of Ahab, for the LORD has done what he said by his servant Elijah.” —II Kings 10:10

And when he came to Samaria, he struck down all who remained to Ahab in Samaria, till he had wiped them out, according to the word of the LORD that he spoke to Elijah. —II Kings 10:17

Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath. —John 5:8-9

            What the Lord says He will do, He will do! In the verses above it was so as He fulfilled what He has said through Elijah (I Kings 21:17-24). What He said to the thirty-eight year old invalid was fulfilled as well (John 5:1-9).   What He is saying to us He will do!   We can count on that 100%. We see examples of this all throughout His Word.   You and I have seen this today.   Let us trust Him for what He desires to do in and through us. Yes, let us trust Him.

            What is our Lord saying through His Word to you? Will you trust Him to carry out His Word? Even if you cannot see right now what He desires, will you be obedient and expect Him to carry out His Word? He will… trust and obey. Dear Father I am so grateful for Your faithfulness.   I am so thankful that I can trust You fully. I am so thankful that You keep Your Word. Now, Holy Father, may I be faithful and obedient to what You say.   May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. Yes, may it be so!
