BE MULTIPLIED!

BE MULTIPLIED!

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.” And his disciples answered him, “How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?” And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and they set them before the crowd. And they had a few small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these also should be set before them. And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full. —Mark 8:2-8

Have you ever had little, then it multiplied to feed thousands and then you had more left over than what you had when you first begun? This is what our Lord does. He can take the little, multiply it to accomplish His desire and then have more left over at the end than was had at the beginning. When that happens there is no doubt that our Lord did it!

Have you seen the Lord take a little of something in your life, multiply it in such a way that there was more of that something than when you first begun?   That is an area where you need to focus on. Whatever it is that our Lord is blessing in your life is the area where He wants you to go in. He wants to multiply you in that area. So what is it?

There are some things from God’s Word that are basic for all those who follow Jesus. First, He said that He would make us fishers of men (Matthew 4:19; Acts 1:8). How have the opportunities multiplied in your life to fish for men? Second, He said that we would be teaching others what we have been taught— discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20). This is the bread He wants to multiply in and through our lives (Matthew 4:4; John 6:35).   Is this happening in your life?

Dear Father may you be pleased to do this in and though my life by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yBzIt_z8oY   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYkZE8AogDE
