GOD’S PLAN OR YOUR PLAN

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. —Proverbs 16:9

I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you. —Psalm 32:8

How is our Lord establishing your steps? What instruction is He giving you for the way you should go? In what way has He taught you or is teaching you to go that way? You and I make plans. How are they lining up with His will?

            Is your planning according to human understanding alone or are you seeking to plan according to God’s will? He does have a “race set out for us” and we are to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith” as we run this race with endurance” (Hebrews 12:2). So what are the steps He has established for you or that He is establishing for you or wants to establish for you? Those are the steps and that is the way you are to go. That is the course, the race course that He wants you to run. So run as you “are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for (you) to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Dear Father please help m to run the race You have set out for me. Establish my footsteps, instruct and teach me.   Help me to run in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. May this be so!
