KILLED FOR TESTIMONY ABOUT JESUS!

KILLED FOR TESTIMONY ABOUT JESUS!

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. —Revelation 12:9, 13-14

There are those who love our Lord Jesus that are going through very difficult trials during this present time.   They are tortured for believing in Jesus. They lose jobs because they love Jesus. They are ostracized for trusting in Jesus. They are killed because they live for Jesus. Yes, there are brothers and sisters that experience great tribulation now.

But there is coming a time when the world as a whole will see great tribulation and during that time many followers of Jesus will be killed. Why? It will be because they give testimony about Jesus. That is why they die. That is why believers today suffer persecution and death as well. Think about this! It does not make sense! Just because people bear testimony about Jesus they are persecuted and killed!

Do people kill others for believing in Santa Claus? Do people kill others for believing in the Easter Bunny? Do people kill others for believing in the tooth fairy? Why do people kill others for believing and speaking about Jesus? It because He is real… that is why and people do not want to be held accountable or hear about their being accountable to Him. This is why these multitudes mentioned in the above verses were killed, but praise God they went to be with Jesus and will be with Him forever. The worst people can do to us is send us to heaven by killing us. Now, that is not so bad is it?   Wow!

Dear Father I am grateful to know that when I leave this earthly tent by whatever means I do, I will be with You. May I live faithfully for You now in the Name of Jesus and in the power of Your Holy Spirit. So be it!
