DON’T BE SELFISH, BE OTHERISH

DON’T BE SELFISH, BE OTHERISH

No one should seek his own good, but the good of others. —I Corinthians 10:24

For I am not seeking my own good, but the good of many, that they may be saved. —I Corinthians 10:33

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. —Philippians 2:3-4

How am I seeking the good of others? Am I seeking the good of the lost that they may be saved? Am I doing what I am doing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit? Am I just looking out for my own interests, putting them first above other people?   Or am I truly looking out for the interests of others?

Do I have to be number one? Am I looking to have the focus on me? Am I willing to serve others? Am I looking to be served? Do I want others looking out for my best interests and am not concerned with their interests? Is it all about me? Or do I truly focus on others for their good?

How will I seek the good of others today? Will I be open to how our Lord wants to work through me today to serve someone else?

Dear Father help me to serve someone today for their benefit and for Your Honor and glory.   May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus my Lord. So be it!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0w6nqvUn2w
