            How many stories have we heard of people being in very difficult circumstances and they call out to God?  They say. “Oh God, please help me through this and I will serve you for the rest of my life!”  Then, graciously and mercifully, God does bring them through their difficult situation, but then they do not carry out what they promised Him.  This is what Louie Zamperini did.  When he was stranded on the ocean in a life raft he called out to God and said if God saved him then he would serve Him forever.  https://youtu.be/gpgsfivrruk?t=3  God did save him out of that situation and then Louie went his own way and forgot what he said, but later… https://youtu.be/-O4Yr1YQ9_A.             Have you ever said something like that to God?  Is there a time in your life when you told God that you would serve Him your whole life, but now you have not kept your vow, your promise?  Well, this is the time to live out what He desires you to live out in your service to Him!  Will you do it?  May it be so.  May you and I serve Him the way He desires us to.
