HONOR OUR KING!

HONOR OUR KING!

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble. —Daniel 4:37

            Our King is:

  • Always right in the work He does
  • Just in all His ways
  • Able to humble those who walk in pride

Our King is:

  • To be praised
  • To be extolled
  • To be honored

When things do not seem right in our lives we must remember that God is working out His will.  Whatever He is doing is just.  We just do not see the whole picture and so many times to us things do not make sense.  This is where you and I have to trust Him as He works out His plans and purposes.  One thing we surely understand it that our King can humble anyone who walks in pride.  May that not be us.  Let us walk humbly and not be prideful.

There is so much to praise, extol and honor our King for.  He who has created all things is so awesome— “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,

which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” (Psalm 8:3-4).  That God is even mindful of you and me is truly astounding.  Not only is He mindful of us, but He cares for us.  Consider how small we are!  Yet our King knows every little detail about our lives in this massive creation that He not only created but sustains every single moment of every single year, month, day, hour, minute, second… He knows and cares for you and me!  Wow… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzqTFNfeDnE

Sigh.. O Father that I would truly be faithful to You.  I feel I fail You so often, but I am grateful that Your love does not change for me.  Oh, I am so thankful that Your Word tells me this is so.  May I be living consistent as I walk through this day.  May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JGS9WICtIg
