And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.  In that day mankind will cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,  to enter the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.  Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he? —Isaiah 21:19-22

Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’  At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. —Matthew 24:29-30

Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the commanders, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and free man, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  And they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.  For the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” —Revelation 6:15-17

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance” (II Peter 3:9).  Yes, the King is coming back.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.  They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”  But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.  By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.  By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. —II Peter 3:3-7

Many people just will not believe until they see with their own eyes and then it will be too late.  Those living on the earth who don’t want anything to do with Jesus will experience His judgment when He comes and experience eternal judgment after death.  Those who do not want to serve King Jesus will be separated from Him forever in hell.  This is a place none should want to go, but once there destiny is sealed (Luke 16:19-31).

God is a God of love.  That is His character, but He is also a God of justice and will not let evil go unpunished.  Those who have “called on the Name of the Lord” (Romans 10:13) will not be punished because Jesus has taken their punishment.  But those who have not called on Jesus will be punished.  Please, if you have not called on His Name please do!  Dear Father may it be so for many even today in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus!
