THE SEASONS WILL CONTINUE!
This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name: “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” declares the Lord. This is what the Lord says: “Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done,” —Jeremiah 31:35-37
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. —Jeremiah 32:17
Will the Lord reject Israel? If the sun stops shining by day He will. He will if the moon and stars stop shining at night. He will reject that people if He stops stirring up the sea so that its waves roar. If the heavens can be measured, then Israel will cease to exist. Or if the foundations of the earth can ever be searched out then they will cease to exist!
The fear mongering of climate change advocates is only that— a fear tactic to get people to do something they would not normally do. It is nature worship, idolatry and an affront to the Lord Jesus Christ. “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease”(Genesis 8:22). Seasons will continue to the end of this age. Now, I will take to heart what the Lord God Almighty says over what puny man says. The authority of God’s Word is what I will go by. The shifting thoughts of man are as unstable as sand before a torrent of water.
In 70’s there was concern the earth was cooling as stated by Time’s cover and article include here. Again, God’s design is climate change advocates attempt to discredit what God has to say. As mentioned before, I will trust what God has to say over man. He who made the heavens and earth is big enough to keep them going until His plan concludes for it. Be comforted in the midst of nonsensical pseudo-science claims. Our Lord God has everything under His control.
Dear Father, I thank You for telling us what is really happening with Your World and the purpose You have for it. May I cling to what You have to say in the midst of man’s faulty ideas and claims. Thank You that You can be fully trusted. Not so with man in this fallen world. May I live life faithfully for You in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
