YOU WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF YOUR LIFE

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. —II Corinthians 5:10

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. —Matthew 12:36

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. —Romans 14:12

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. —Hebrews 4:13

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. —Hebrews 13:17

But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. —I Peter 4:5

This is such a sobering truth. Each of us will give an account to God of how we lived. Nothing is hidden from His sight. Nobody is getting away with anything. Everything done for His glory will be acknowledge and everything done for wrong motives will be burned up ( I Corinthians 3:10-15). All things will be brought to light before the eyes of Him who sees all.

Our of our love for God and with the power He gives, let us do what is good for Him today, then tomorrow and for the rest of our lives. So what is it you are doing today?
