OUR KING IS IN CONTROL!

The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases. —Proverbs 21:1

Does a king, president or any ruler really think they are in charge? Do they really believe they have the final word? Could it be that they think they are really in control? If they do then they are deluded.

Pharaoh truly believed that he had absolute authority, but God said that “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth” (Romans 9:7; Exodus 9:6). “He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet” (Psalm 47:3). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_Zep3-pOo4 The Lord God Almighty has absolute control and He is fulfilling His purposes in all nations and in all rulers. We may not be able to understand it all, but we can surely trust Him as He moves all things toward His conclusion.

Yes, let us not forget who it is that is actually in full control. Nothing is out of His control. What a comfort to know this. Yes, rejoice! Whatever you face today is not out of His sovereign will. He is working out His purposes… trust Him!

Dear Father I am so grateful to know that this world is not out of control, but that You are absolutely over all things according to Your plans and purposes. Please help me to be and do what You desire in Your purposes by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
