HIS PLAN AND PURPOSES ARE FOR HIS GLORY!

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. —Romans 11:33-36

What is God doing? That might be a question we ask when we do not understand why some things happen. The answer to that is that He is fulfilling His purposes and accomplishing His desires even though we may not understand this. Everything does not have to make sense to us. God is far greater than our little minds and limited understanding. One thing is for sure and that is He can be fully trusted.

Let us be thankful for what He has revealed about Himself and His purposes in His Word. There is much there to put our trust in. Let us continue to “throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2). Yes, let us run faithfully.

Who are we to question the “race marked out for us” by Jesus? We need to trust His wisdom and knowledge in marking this race out for us. There is no way we can know much of what He is doing, but He reveals to us what He wants us to know at this time. We do need to saturate our minds with His Word. Listen to Him, be obedient to Him and love Him (John 14:21). Yes, trust Him for those things you do not understand. Be faithful to those things we do understand. He is fully trustworthy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow4OfW4DP9s

Dear Father, this world is full of sorrow because of sin. This surely encourages me so much to look forward to being in glory with Jesus which Your servant Paul said, “is far better.” Oh, I so look forward to that “far better” place with Jesus and all who love Him. Until then may I be faithful in the race You have marked out for me and may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
