I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins…. ” To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” —John 8:24, 31-32

Do you have beautiful feet— feet that bring the Good News to those in bondage? Those are what God calls “beautiful feet!

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” —Romans 10:13-15

Those who do not believe in Jesus will die in their sins and will suffer eternal judgment in hell. But Jesus took their punishment and this as followers of Jesus we know and understand. Now we are to take this message to others so they can also be set free as we were set free.

Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. —Romans 10:25-26

Brother and sister the Word of God came to us and we received the message and believed.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. —Ephesians 1:13-14

Let us bring the Truth to people today so they may also be set free. So be it!

Dear Father, please cross my path with those today that are open to Your Word. Yes, might they call on His Name for salvation. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
