LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL!

The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight. —Luke 16:14

Some people will do anything for money— deal in drugs, murder, lie, steal, manipulate, take advantage of people, use power positions to get their way, cover up crimes etc. Their love for money drives them into evil doings. They seek to be something before people… even “religious,” but God knows their heart and nobody is getting away with anything.

Money, we will give an account to God as to how we used the wealth that He has given each of us to be responsible over. Billionaires will give account to Him whether they think they will or not. How can a Billionaire use all that money? Should they not be helping others and not just a token help either? Unfortunately many of them love their money and hoard it as others are starving to death. It is not that they can help everyone, but they surely could make a huge difference in this world is that was their focus. We also need to be doing what the Lord desires.

Dear Father, may I be a wise steward for You and use money appropriately. May I never love it, but trust You fully. Thank You for what You have allowed me to be responsible over. May I be faithful in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
