WE WILL SEE JESUS!

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3

The disciples asked Jesus two questions. 1- When will this happen? 2- What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

1-When will this happen? We know that this happened in 70AD by Titus the Roman Commander when he destroyed Jerusalem.

2- What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? There is a progression here of a-many false Messiahs b- wars and rumors of wars c-Nation against nation d-famines and earthquakes e- believers will be persecuted and killed f- believers will be hated by all nations g- many will turn away from the faith, betraying and hating each other g- But these are just the beginnings toward the end h- the gospel will be preached to all nations as a testimony and then the end will come i- the “abomination that causes desolation” will be standing in the holy place j- there will be great distress unequaled from creation and will never be known again k- false messiahs and prophets performing deceptive signs and wonders l- Jesus will come in great glory m- sun, moon and stars will be impacted n- Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven o- peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming with great power and glory p- the Son of Man will send his angels with a loud trumpet call q- the angels will gather his elect r- the time of his coming is unknown, but will be sudden.

One of the signs of the end is that the gospel will go out to all the nations. That is definitely getting closer. That was written in 2010. No man knows the hour, but we are surely getting closer! But whether we are alive at the return of Jesus or die and go to be with Him— we will be with the King of kings and Lord of lords not long from now. Dear Father, may I simply live faithfully for You, knowing that I will be with Jesus and all who love Him shortly! Oh, be pleased to work through me to encourage others to live for You as well so they too will be with You forever. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.
