LISTEN!

LISTEN!

To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. —Jeremiah 6:10

Do you find pleasure in God’s Word? Do you love to hear what He has to say? Are you rejoicing in His Word? Are you being obedient to His Word? Do you share His Word with others?

Those things we take pleasure in are the things we love to hear about, listen to and take part in. The things that are offensive to us we would rather not be around or spend time with. May this not be the case with us when it comes down to listening and obeying God’s Word!

When we share God’s Word let us also make sure we share the warning that He speaks. Let us not sugarcoat God’s Word and only speak what people want to hear. Let us speak and warn them as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8cJQMU9Q-U

Dear Father, may this be the case. May I share all of Your Word with those around me. Oh, that this would be done in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus my Lord. So be it!
