THE VINE, THE BRANCHES, THE RESULTS

You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

You are my friends if you do what I command.

You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

“But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. And you must also testify about me because you have been with me from the beginning of my ministry. —John 15:3. 7, 10, 14, 16, 26, 27

His message prunes and purifies us. As we remain connected to Him His Words remain in us. Our obedience to Him keeps us in His love, shows our friendship with Him and proves that He has chosen us to His appointment to bear lasting fruit. Therefore, we will bear testimony about Him along with His Spirit of Truth.

Is it possible to know Jesus and not have a desire to tell others about Him? Could a person know of food that could be given to a starving people and not do anything about it? How would it be possible to have plenty of water and not give any to those around us that are dying of thirst?

We have spiritually starving people around us, people dying of spiritual thirst and we have the resources to help them. How are we?

Dear Father, help me to bring the Bread of Life and the Water of Life to those I come into contact with today. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. May it be so!
