BREATHE & BE REMINDED!

BREATHE & BE REMINDED!

Everything that breathed and lived on dry land died. —Genesis 7:22

Ever think about breathing? I read that a person takes between 17,280 to 23,040 breaths per day or about 6,307,200 to 8,409,600 breaths per year or about 588,672,000 breaths over the course of 70 years. Now, how did that start? “Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person” (Genesis 2:7). Evolution? Really? I don’t believe that even for a micro second! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCoD0Pfq7B8

How amazing is it that God breathed into Adam and he became a living being? Ever since Adam and Eve people have been breathing and it is truly wonderful to see a child take the first breath. Then on the other hand it is truly hard to see a loved one or anyone to take their last breath.

We may not usually think about breathing unless we are having trouble with it. Colds, pneumonia, choking on water or gulping water while swimming reminds us as well as snorkeling or scuba diving that we need to breathe. As you go through the day today take notice of your breathing and thank the Lord God Almighty this wonder of His creation— breathing.

Dear Father, it is so amazing how you created us and sustain us. May we have joyful hearts in knowing it was by Your hand that we even breathe. I am grateful and now may I use those breaths wisely in the authority of Jesus and by the power of Your Holy Spirit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5eMMmKpJCo
