GRACE IS ENOUGH!

It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel have remained faithful because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them. And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved. —Romans 11:5-6

God’s grace! It is “free and undeserved! In His purposes God chose you to be His, to be what He desires you to be, to do His will and to be with Him forever. There was no good work that you could have done to make yourself acceptable to God. You and I had nothing good in us. All our works were as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). There was not one person who was/is righteous in and of themselves. It was God’s “undeserved kindness in choosing” us. That is why grace is grace— free and undeserved!

Now think for a moment— it was by grace that we were saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) and so what is it that keeps us saved? Works? In no way is it works! Service to our Lord Jesus Christ happens when our hearts are filled with gratitude and fellow follower of Jesus, we should be the most grateful people on the planet. Let us rejoice in the grace that brought us salvation and the grace that keeps us saved. Let us also be faithful to the One who has extended us such grace. Dear Father, truly this grace You have extended to us through Your Son is amazing! Thank You also for giving us Your Holy Spirit to enable us to be and do what You desire. May we be faithful.
