LISTEN TO GOD’S WORD AND OBEY!

O my people, listen to my instructions. Open your ears to what I am saying, for I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past—stories we have heard and known, stories our ancestors handed down to us. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders. For he issued his laws to Jacob; he gave his instructions to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them— even the children not yet born— and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors— stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God. —Psalm 78:1-8

The history of this world has not been taught from God’s perspective in the vast majority of the educational institutions across the U.S. and the world. Therefore, “The fool has said in his heart that there is no God” (Psalm 14:1) and those same fools who did not want God’s ways to be taught to our youth have brought us to reap the way of the fool— “A fool spurns a parent’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence” (Proverbs 15:5) — “A fool finds pleasure in wicked schemes, but a person of understanding delights in wisdom” (Proverbs 10:23) —“Eloquent lips are unsuited to a godless fool– how much worse lying lips to a ruler!” (Proverbs 17:7) — “A rebuke impresses a discerning person more than a hundred lashes a fool” (Proverbs 17:10) — “Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool bent on folly” (Proverbs 17:12) — “To have a fool for a child brings grief; there is no joy for the parent of a godless fool” (Proverbs 17:21). When a generation is not taught the history of God’s working on this planet, they will become like those of old who were “stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.” Then what will be generation be that follows them? We are finding that out! Our nation, like the world, is a mess… a sinful mess. Yet, this is not a surprise. God’s Word is clear about what will happen when we do not follow Him. It is also clear where this world is headed. It is headed for judgment. Fellow follower of Jesus let us teach our children and whoever else will listen about our Great Lord God Almighty.

Dear Father, help us to share You with all who will listen. Yes, help us, O Lord, to proclaim Your wondrous deeds to those in darkness and to those in the light. May it be so in the authority of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit
