BE WISE!

And this is what he says to all humanity: The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding. —Job 28:28

How much understanding does our world truly have? Who in fact has understanding in America or any country? Where are the wise men? It is only those who have a “fear of the Lord” and the ones who “forsake evil.”

We can see the world’s “fear of the Lord” waning more and more as evil increases. But what the Lord says to all humanity still stands. Where do you and I fit in? We are to forsake evil and do what is good and we will have understanding. “God alone understands the way to wisdom; he knows where it can be found” (Job 28:23). Let us stick close to Him!

Our world is in desperate need of people who are wise to be in leadership. May this be so in America and other countries. Oh, that God’s people would let their lights shine in every corner of this world and not shy away from any part. Let us be faithful to what the Lord desires of us!

Dear Father, help me to be about Your business in any part of this world that You desire me to be serving in. May this be so in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
