There he came to a cave, where he spent the night. But the Lord said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And a voice said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

And the Lord said to him, “Go, return on your way…” — I Kings 19:9, 13, 15

Ever get discouraged, fearful, doubtful or questioning? Have you fled because of people being against you or threatening you? Are you on the way the Lord would have you or are you seeking to go your own way and do what you want to do? If you are going your own way, trying to write your own script and not trusting the Lord then the verses above are for you too! “What are you doing here?” The Lord is saying to you… “Go, return on your way.” Listen to His voice and obey!

Dear Father, may I listen to Your voice and not my own. Oh, may I be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and be obedient in the authority of Jesus.
