REPENT!
And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. —Luke 13:3
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (II Peter 3:9). The Lord desires those who do not know Him to repent of their “sins and turn to God.” Repentance is a change of mind about sin and calling it for what it is— wicked rebellion against God. Repentance is a change of direction. “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6). Instead of going my own way, repentance is a turning from my own ways and a turning to God to follow His ways. We will see Jesus soon. He may come back in our life time or our life will be over and we will see Him. Either way, we will see Him… all of us. Some of us will see Him as Savior and be with Him forever! Others will see Him as Judge and be condemned forever! We will see Jesus soon… all of us! Repent and believe the gospel of Lord Jesus (I Cor. 15:1-5). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8fs4SXOJRk&list=RDH8fs4SXOJRk&nohtml5=False
Dear Father, I so look forward to seeing Jesus and being with Him and all who love Him. Dear Father, I also desire many others to come to know Jesus as well so they can be with Him forever as well. Be pleased to work through me, through Your Church to draw others to Jesus. May it be so!
