Help Someone!

Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. —Titus 3:14

So you know of an urgent need? Are you able and desiring to help? Will you take the step and actually help? You know the urgent needs in your sphere of influence. Which will you help with?

As followers of Jesus we have to learn not to be self-focused but others focused. That does not mean that we do not look to our own interests, but it does mean that we are not concern with just our own interests. We need to learn to be concerned with the interests of other people as well (Philippians 2:4). It is then that we will not be unproductive in the Lord’s work. So, is there someone you can help with an urgent need today? May you do so!

Dear Father, please help me to be sensitive to those around me and help those who need help. May it be done in the authority of Jesus and by the Holy Spirit’s power.
