REJOICE, BE GLAD AND SING!

REJOICE, BE GLAD AND SING!

Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!            —Psalm 32:11

Rejoice, be glad and sing!  You who are righteous are righteous because He has made you righteous (Romans 10:3)— “not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith” (Philippians 3:9).  We rejoice and “we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (II Peter 3:13).  The only way we can be with Jesus in that “new heaven and earth is because “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21).  “It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.  Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord” (I Corinthians 1:30-31).  “For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?” (I Corinthians 4:7).  “Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!”

We should be the most rejoicing and glad people on the planet.  Yes, we should be singing with full hearts because of what He has done for us.  When we called upon the Name of Jesus for salvation from sin and a new life with Him, He gave us His righteousness— “to whom God will credit righteousness–for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Romans 4:24; Romans chapter 4; Galatians 3:6; Psalm 136:31; James 2:23; Genesis 15:6).      Yes, rejoice, be glad and sing!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jukcsdEUHU

Dear Father, I praise Your Holy Name for all that You have done for me.  Surely You have made me glad and may I lift up Your Name in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.  Yes, so be it!
