SERVING, SECURE AND GUIDED

SERVING, SECURE AND GUIDED

For You are my rock and my fortress; lead and guide me for the sake of Your name.  —Psalm 31:3

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.  He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.  Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. —Psalm 23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cx9-LkuVWt4

The Sovereign of the all creation cannot be moved.  I am safe in Him and I can trust Him completely to lead me according to His plans and purposes.  “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8).  He can be fully trusted to accomplish what He has promised.  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

He promises to keep us secure and calls us to follow Him.  “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me” (John 12:26).  “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:27-28). Trust Him to keep you secure and to guide you.  What He promises, He will do.  Now may you and I be faithful in serving as we follow Him for His glory and honor.  Dear Father may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVFGqEmUSB8
