LOOK! GLORY JUST AHEAD!

See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. —Isaiah 65:17

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. —Revelation 21:1-4

Glory is just ahead! Rejoice brothers and sisters! We will be with Jesus in the not too distant future! Then “the former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” Eternity will swallow up that which we now know and only perfection will prevail. Oh yes, let us rejoice in the glory to come!

Think about this… We will be with Jesus and all who love Him! No more conflict of any sort…none! No more pain of any kind… none! No more tears from pain, sadness, grief or loss… none! There will be no more death… none! Sin will not ever again be known. The results of sin in the Garden of Eden will not be remembered. Compared to eternity what we experience now are “light and momentary troubles” which “are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Yes, all this “will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”

The Garden of Eden was fabulous before sin entered. What joy and fellowship with our Lord they enjoyed! The new heavens and earth will be far greater… forever! Yes brothers and sisters… rejoice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbFHRNDneMc The fellowship ahead will be astounding!

Dear Father, thank You for the wonderful future we have in Jesus and with Jesus. Oh, my heart is full of joy and expectation of that glorious time when You make all things new. May I now with a heart filled with joy live a life that is pleasing to You. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
