RESOLVING CONFLICT

Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. And I ask you, my true partner, to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life. —Philippians 4:2-3

Whether on a national level or between two individuals, it usually takes mediators to help resolve disagreements and conflicts. So, do you know of a disagreement going on with people you know? Will you help resolve it? Or, maybe you are in conflict with someone. Will you allow a mediator to help resolve the difference?

Knowing of disagreements that cause conflict in the church needs to be addressed as the Apostle Paul states in the above verses. Believers that know of conflict occurring in other believers’ lives are to step in to help settle the disagreement. Will you?

Dear Father, please help me to be a peace maker and not a peace breaker. May this be the desire and motivation of those in the local church and church universal. Oh, please help us to live in unity as You desire and may it be done in the Spirit’s power and in Jesus’ authority.
