PROVIDE ACCORDING TO OUR LORD’S WILL But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. —I Timothy 5:8              This is a pretty clear directive for those who follow Jesus. Those who follow Jesus are not to expect the government or even the church to provide for their relatives. No, followers of Jesus are to take care of their own relatives.
