FORGIVEN!

 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! —John 1:29

 “Come and see.” —John 1:46

 —as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. —Psalm 103:12

It is astounding when we consider what Jesus has done for us— “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).  God loves us so much is why Jesus came to take the penalty and punishment for our sin that we could have eternal life and not end up in hell!  “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake” (I Peter 118-20).  Jesus is he unblemished “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QGNUDsQ6fI

I am so glad our sins are cast as far away as the east is from the west and not as far away as the north and south.  Travel east and you will never start traveling west.
