NONE LIKE OUR LORD…NONE!

There is none holy like the LORD; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. —I Samuel 2:2-3

            There is none like our Lord… none! He is holy and pure.   All His motives are perfect. He never does anything wrong. He can be fully trusted. Man is very proud and speaks arrogantly. You do not have to look too far to see that on our planet or in our life’s sphere of movement.

            Jesus Himself said that He “ would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person. (John 2:24-25).  Yes our Lord’s Word “is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:12-13). Yes, there is none like Him to whom we all will give account to. He even knows our intentions and motives—our very thoughts! Even those who do not believe will give an account to Him.   They will see Him and that will be an eternally fearful time for those who do not know Him, trust Him or who have never called on His Name to be saved from sin to a relationship with Him.   Call on Jesus today if you do not know Him. Dear Father I thank You for Who You are and that You do everything perfectly. Man makes the choice to do their own thing and makes a mess of it. This world bears testimony to that. Thank You that You know all about everything and everybody. People want true justice, but it does not exist without You. I know the day is coming when You will set all things right.
