DISCIPLE SOMEONE!
DISCIPLE SOMEONE!
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.” —Exodus 10:1-2
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. —Deuteronomy 4:9
Are we passing on to our children what our Lord has done in our own lives and in the world around us? Are we also passing these workings of our Lord to our grandchildren? This is what our Lord desires us to do and may we do so.
Discipleship of one’s own family and extended family is where ministry should start. Let us be an encouragement to those closest to us, sharing God’s Word with them. Then let us also be faithful in making disciples beyond as well (Matthew 28:16-20).
So let me ask you are question— who are you presently discipling? Who is it that you are “teaching… to obey everything (Jesus has) commanded you.” This is what Jesus has commanded us to do. So again, who are you discipling? If not why not? Jesus has called us to be both witnesses (Acts 1:8) and disciplers. Am I/are you being faithful to Him?

Dear Father may I be faithful in my own family and also to those You would have me disciple outside the family. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
