YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN BY THE LORD!

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! —Isaiah 49:15

Typically moms feeding their baby are not going to forget them. That is just so far from being natural! The bond between a mother and her child is strong! But even though she may forget her child as remote as that is, the Lord will never forget you!

By far there are estimated to be more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth. It is estimated there are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars. We are told He “determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name” (Psalm 147:4). This is the One who “created my inmost being; (He) knit me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). “Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name” (Isaiah 49:1). He intimately knows all about you and me and will never leave us— “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20) and “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

Let us rejoice that there is One who knows all about us and has promised to never leave us. When we consider who He is, we should be overwhelmed with joy unspeakable! May it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWNwQg3xoJw

Dear Father, I am grateful that You know me, love me, called me and will never leave me. I am so thankful. Now out of gratitude may I live faithfully for You in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus’ Name.
