HATE EVIL!
I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil. —Psalm 101:3-4
Truly, God’s people are to “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good” (Romans 12:9). We who follow our Lord Jesus Christ are not to “look with approval on anything that is vile.” Are you and I living up to that standard? Do we “hate what faithless people do?” Are we taking “no part in it?” Are we seeking to have the “perverse of heart shall be far from me?” Are we having “nothing to do with what is evil?” God hates what is evil and so should we. Not only that, but we are told to “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11). May we be these types of people and be like our Lord Jesus who “loved righteousness and hated wickedness” (Hebrews 1:9). Yes, may our lives reflect the desires of our Lord Jesus and not the desires of this fallen world. May this be so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus for Your honor and glory! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqe6Mwb-eh0&list=RDpqe6Mwb-eh0&start_radio=1
