TRUST IN THE GOODNESS OF GOD

The Lord will do what is good in his sight. —I Chronicles 19:13

Our Lord always does “what is good in his sight.”  The way He sees things is quite different than the way we see things.  We may be seeing something from our vantage point and wonder how it could be good, but we do not have the big picture.  Only our Lord God Almighty has the big picture.  “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).  Will we trust Him with the things we do not understand?  Will we follow Him and be faithful even when it does not “feel good?”  Truly, will we “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).  Will we do this?  Let us be fully convinced that He “will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8).  This is what Jesus said, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John 16:13).  So, let us be lovingly obedient to what we know and then He will reveal more of Himself and show us the way— “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them” (John 14:21).  This we can be sure of and I thank You, Dear Father, that this is so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May I fully trust You! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLsETd3MFzk&list=RDMMmLsETd3MFzk&start_radio=1
