HE TAUGHT ME, RESCUED ME AND GAVE ME ETERNAL LIFE!
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.” —John 6:44-45
“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” —John 6:68-69
Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story… He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. —Psalm 107:2, 20
Are you a follower/disciple of Jesus? When was the last time you told the story of how our Lord God Almighty impacted your life. Have you told them how “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.” Have you told anybody lately how our Father drew you to Jesus because God taught you what you did not know which enabled you to call on Jesus to be saved? (Romans 10:13).
Fellow followers/disciples of Jesus, like Peter we say, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” So, brother and sister, it is said, “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story… He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” Tell your story of how our Lord impacted you. Tell how His Word healed you from the serpent’s snakebite of sin that occurred in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Tell how He rescued you and has given you eternal life. Yes, Dear Father, today, open the door for us to share our story of how You impacted our lives by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
