PRAY— OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WILL ANSWER!

While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him a second time: “Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it, the LORD is His name: Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know. —Jeremiah 33:1-3

Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.  They will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it! —Psalm 22:30-31

Yes, “the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it, the LORD is His name.”  I was talking with Trevor at the gym the other day and, through engineering, he came to the conclusion that science and God’s Word do not conflict.  Wow, glad he came to that truth!  That opened up the door to speak of the Creator, share about Jesus through my testimony woven with the gospel and he willingly took a Gospel of John and said He would read it.

There are those who don’t believe that things did not just, poof, come into existence by “itself.”  But they do not know that Jesus is the Creator and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:1-3).  So, it is up to us brothers and sisters, fellow followers and disciples of Jesus, to bring the news to them (Romans 1:13-15).  Oh that “Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.  They will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it!”  There are 3 generations right there…Our (1) posterity (2) future generations (3) a people yet to be born.  This is much like II Timothy 2:2— “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”  Are we looking to share the Word of God with future generations that they would do the same?  Oh, may it be so.

I was talking with another guy at the gym shortly after talking with the other one.  Ian was a believer and he said, “I was watching you talk with that guy and it looked so natural.  I have a hard time bridging from general conversation to talking about Jesus.”  I told him what is most important is preparation in prayer.  Pray as to who the Lord wants us to talk to and then be bold and do so.  Don’t let fear hold us back— “Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”  Pray and then watch what our Lord will do!

Dear Father, thank You for hearing me and giving me opportunities to share Your Gospel with others.  Oh, that I would be faithful in doing so.  Yes, be pleased to open the door for the Gospel and that I would walk through them in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be! https://youtu.be/bo9ZWX1lEKI?list=RDbo9ZWX1lEKI&t=1023
