RESCUED FROM CONDEMNATION!

RESCUED FROM CONDEMNATION!

Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. —Psalm 34:21-22

I will never be condemned because Jesus has taken that condemnation for me—

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” —Romans 8:1-4

We had no hope, but then Jesus came, gave us hope through His substitutionary death on the cross, His rising from the dead, His ascension back to heaven and now “we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).  As we wait, we understand that—

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son… Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them” (John 3:18, 36).

Let’s be clear, the wicked, those who have not called on Jesus (Romans 10:13), are already condemned and if they were to die at this moment, they would end up in hell forever.  But, for those of us who have called on Jesus, we have eternal life and will never be condemned- — “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BfZ3KKKg9c

Thank You, Dear Father for rescuing me through Your Son Jesus and that I will never be condemned because of Him.  Now, out of gratitude, may I live faithfully by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://youtu.be/bo9ZWX1lEKI?t=1012
