MEN! ACT LIKE MEN!

The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out. —Proverbs 13:9

 Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him. —Proverbs 14:2

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. —Proverbs 14:34

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. —I Corinthians 15:13

            Men, act like men!  Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be strong.  These are the type of men our Lord desires.  He desires men who are living righteously in the light.  Men who are rejoicing in the light.  Truly, it is those who walk in righteousness that have a proper perspective toward our Lord.

            We need men, and women, who will live a consistent, righteous life.  Righteous living exalts a nation and “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan” (Proverbs 29:2).  Yes, people groan when the wicked rule.  The wicked are devious in their ways and they despise our Lord.  They bring reproach and not praise.

Oh, Dear Father, that you would raise up strong men who act like men.  Leaders that will lead.  May this be so on every level of our society.  Oh, that this would be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be.  I do look forward to glory where only righteousness, peace and joy will thrive… forever!
