MY SERVANT
MY SERVANT
And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” —Job 1:8
And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He still holds fast his integrity, although you incited me against him to destroy him without reason.” —Job 2:3
Have you ever considered how our Lord would describe you? I have… It is truly amazing as I read the description given by our Lord of Job— “my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil.” Is that not a wonderful testimony that our Lord gives about a man!
Our Lord says this about Job, not just once but twice— “my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He still holds fast his integrity…” This is absolutely amazing! Oh, I wonder how my Lord would describe me… or you… May we be considered His servants!
Dear Father, may I live in such a way that You have a favorable statement about me. I know that I am safe in Jesus, righteous in Him, but it is my desire to honor You by the way I live. May I do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. Yes, so may it be that I might hear those words— “Well done!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZu7mfYS_VY
