THE FATHER DRAWS PEOPLE TO THE SON FOR ETERNAL LIFE!

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” —John 5:6-27

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. —John 6:44

            Man is more than just the physical body, the material make-up.  No, the body is a tent in which the person exists.  Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).  One day—

“We know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” —II Corinthians 5:1-5

            Most people live for the physical/material.  They look to have their bellies filled and only live for “food” that perishes.  Jesus said to labor “for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”  Only those who the Father draws to Jesus can come to Him and He gives them eternal life— the food that endures forever!  If you know Jesus and have called on His Name to save you and now are following Him, giving evidence that you have truly believed— then that only happened because our Father drew you to Jesus!

            Now… if our Father drew you to Jesus and all those people you know who were also drawn to Jesus, then there are others that He is presently drawing to Jesus.  So, Dear Father, please guide us to them so we can share the gospel with them so they too will call on Jesus to save them (Romans 10:13).  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyFNAs2jRjU
