LISTEN TO THE RIGHT VOICE!

You must not live according to the customs of the nations… —Leviticus 20:23

“This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!” —Mark 9:7

             Who am I listening to?  Which voice is impacting me?  The voice of Jesus or culture?  WE are told by God our Father that Jesus “is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”  Are we listening to Jesus?  Beware, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2).  Yes, the worldly culture seeks to press us into its mold and we must resist it.  Instead, we are to have a mind that is being renewed by what God says and apply what He says.  When we do this our lives will be in the process of transformation.
