HE IS IN CONTROL!
He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name. —Amos 4:13
The Lord God Almighty—

So many have stood on a mountain, a mountain that He created, and stand in awe as they gaze out over the view from the heights. He not only creates the gentle breeze, but hurricane force storms for His purposes. Man, when depending on himself, does not understand that all knowledge is revealed by the Lord. Man would not know anything unless our Lord God Almighty revealed knowledge to us. He is the One who also created light and darkness and the earth is but a drop in “a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust” (Isaiah 40:15). This is the One that all mankind will appear before on judgment day— followers of Jesus before the “Judgment Seat of Christ” (II Corinthians 5:10) and those who have not called on Him, who did not want anything to do with Him, will appear at the “Great White Throne Judgment” (Revelation 20:11-15). None will escape that appearance or miss that appointment. Dear Father, may we be ready for that day by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
