MY LORD GIVES ME STRENGTH!

MY LORD GIVES ME STRENGTH!

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. —Isaiah 40:29-31

The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. —Psalm 118:12

Be honest.  From where does your strength come from?  From yourself?  “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2).  Indeed, “Blessed are those whose strength is in you” (Psalm 84:5).  I know that “The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).  And He tells me, “Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures” (Psalm 90:10).  Yes, I will acknowledge that my strength, my very existence, is because of my Lord.  I will trust Him for the strength that I need to accomplish His desires for me and through me.  “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:17).  Let us trust in His strength.  We really have none of our own and to think so is a delusion.  So yes, Dear Father, I thank You for the strength You have given me.  May I honor You with the life I have left to live here by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfiYWaeAcRw
