PROCLAIM HIM WHO IS OUR ONLY HOPE!

My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, Lord?” and “My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.” —Psalm 35:10, 28

             Oh, “How great you are, Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears” (II Samuel 7:22).  Look around all creation and marvel at Who our Lord is and what He has done, is doing and will do.  Yes, “My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.”

             I was talking with a young man at the gym yesterday.  Joey was his name.  As we talked, I shared how our righteous Lord had impacted my life and was sharing the gospel with him.  Just as I was sharing that knowing what Jesus has done for us does us no good unless we appropriate it —“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).  Right at that point Joey said he was feeling lightheaded, went to a garbage container and was violently sick into that container.  I got him some water and the manager called 911.  When they arrived, he was feeling better and had a ride home.  That was definitely spiritual warfare.  Would you pray for Joey right now?  He had taken a Gospel of John before he got sick and I encouraged him to read it.  He said he would.  Oh, that Joey would come to know this— “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21).  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFRjr_x-yxU
