THE GIFT OF CHILDREN

When Rachel saw that she was not bearing Jacob any children, she became jealous of her sister.  So she said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I’ll die!”  Jacob became angry with her and said, “Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?” —Genesis 30:1-2

            Rachel was childless and did not want to be.  She wanted children and became frustrated and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I’ll die!”  Oh, how she wanted children!  But Jacob became angry and said to her, “Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

            See, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him” (127:3).  Oh, there are so many people that don’t believe that today.  Instead of having children, millions upon millions upon millions have been aborted world-wide— estimated at 73 million each year.

            You can be sure that our Lord God Almighty is not happy with this.  It is He that gives the ability to have children.  Satan seeks to destroy children and he will use whatever he can to do so.  Abortion is the devil’s execution tool.  He will pay eternally for what he has done.

            Abortionists and those having abortions need to “come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” ((II Timothy 2:26).  Yes, abortion is Satan’s deceptive play to kill kids and his lying about it has deceived many to do his destructive work.  God knows and He will have the final Word.

            Fortunately, for anyone who has had an abortion, there is forgiveness and healing in Jesus.  Oh, that many of those who have had abortions would call on His Name.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  And I thank You for my 4 children—adults now— and for our 8 grandchildren.  Yes, I thank You for them all!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DZ6QYjTci0
