TO THE CONFUSED

The LORD has mingled within her a spirit of confusion… —Isaiah 19:14

            What Isaiah said about Egypt— “The LORD has mingled within her a spirit of confusion” — is surely the case in our nation today.  People are confused over what should be plain and this is a spiritual matter.  Satan is the author of confusion and he is surely working in this nation.  People are confused over what is so obvious.  But we know that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:10).  And that is why people “call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20).

            We only have One Hope and that is to turn to our Lord Jesus.  Without Him there is no lasting hope.  Yes, without Jesus we are “without hope and without God in the world” (Ephesians 2:12).  Are you confused about right and wrong?  Do you have a way to discern right and wrong?  There is truly only one way to know what is right and what is wrong.  God’s Word speaks to what is right and is our “filter” to sift everything through.  If something does not line up with the Word of God, it should be discarded.  His Word is truth and can be fully trusted (John 17:17).  His Word is the only Word that can be fully trusted. 

            Confused by the issues of the day.  You need not be.  God’s Word is clear about them.  Go by what He says and not what man says.  Then you will not be confused.  Dear Father, may many who are confused read and heed Your Word so they will not be confused.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Yes, so may it be and all for Your honor and glory.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylyCvOmRNTM
