GOD’S CHOICE!

GOD’S CHOICE!

But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” —I Corinthians 1:27-31

  • The weak in the world
  • The lowly in the world
  • The despised in the world
  • The things that are not in the world

  • Wisdom from God— He has given us the ability to understand things that others don’t
  • Righteousness from God— He has given us His righteousness, made us right and fit for heaven
  • Sanctification from God— He has set us apart for His special work done in holiness
  • Redemption from God— He has purchased us with His own blood and we are not our own, but His

I thank You, Dear Father, for all that You have done for me.  Without Your intervention in my life, I would have a hopeless eternity stretched out before me.  Oh, that I would live more faithfully for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May I yield more and more to Your Holy Spirit.  Yes, may this be so.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QANH8MWuyaE
