UNSHAKEABLE!

UNSHAKEABLE!

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. —Psalm 62:1-2

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. —Psalm 62:5-6

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. —Psalm 62:8

Who do you trust?  Who can you pour your heart out to?  Who is your refuge?  God alone can be trusted 100% of the time.  He only is the One available all the time and I can pour my heart out to Him, knowing He is listening.  He alone is my refuge, my shelter, my protection.  He alone is my salvation!  No others can save me, redeem me and love me like He does. —

“No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them—the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough— so that they should live on forever and not see decay… But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself.” —Psalm 49:7-9, 15

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” —I Peter 1:18-22

Those who trust in Him will not be shaken.  Though the world crumbles around me, He is my fortress that gives me eternal safety.  I am so glad I can pour out my heart to Him.  I need to wait in silence for Him.  He alone is my hope and I will rejoice in Him.

Dear Father, I am so grateful that You are always there for me.  I am so thankful for all Jesus has done for me, is doing for me and will do for me.  Thank You for drawing me to Jesus by the power of Your Holy Spirit.  Now may I, out of gratefulness and love for You, be faithful in what You desire me to be and do— all for Your honor and glory.  So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DehkKX2Kn-g
