The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. —Psalm 53:1-3

 …for I see violence and strife in the city.  Day and night they go around it on its walls, and iniquity and trouble are within it; ruin is in its midst; oppression and fraud do not depart from its marketplace. —Psalm 55:9-11

His speech was smooth as butter, yet war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords. Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. —Psalm 55:21-22

            “Atheists are fools” and it is God who has said that.  He is the One that atheists will have to answer to for their fool heartedness.    They deny God to go about their wickedness and to suppress the truth (Romans 1:18).  It is not enough to deny God exists or to live wickedly.  No, they seek to influence others with their wickedness.

            The corrupt nature of fools was on full display, so I heard and saw the headline, when wicked “drag queens” mocked Jesus and the last supper.  These are sexual perverts that flaunt their wickedness on others.  For the Olympics to allow such a display is utterly wicked in itself.  Personally, I wouldn’t waste my time watching any of the Olympics.  That is my conviction…

            Abominations flourish in the cities along with “violence and strife.”  Cities are full of wickedness, trouble, ruin, oppression and fraud.  Look at the homeless situations in so many of our cities.  Many in government are decriminalizing that which is against the law.  Those coming into the country illegally are just called undocumented immigrants, when in actuality, they are criminal invaders.  Our government is not protecting its people.

            There are those whose “speech was smooth as butter, yet war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.”  They talk a talk but their talk is only talk.  They sound good, but what is in their heart is destruction.  Beware of those who speak and want you to believe it as truth.  What they say and what they desire are two different things— smooth speech from their mouth, destructive swords coming from their hearts— beware of deceivers.

            I am so glad that when our world is falling apart, and it is, that this truth still stands— “Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”  With the wickedness and deception all around me in this world, I can fully trust my Lord as my foundation of life to sustain me.  And, Dear Father, I am so glad that I am able to do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of my Lord and Your Son, Jesus.  Amen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yb8WZ2ND4BY
